  • US President Joe Biden told ABC News that F-16 fighters won’t be sent to Ukraine“for now.” 
  • Former NATO deputy secretary-general Rose Gottemoeller said Russia’s suspension of the New START treaty was a “disaster” for arms control.
  • The US expanded its Russian sanctions list on Friday to include three nuclear weapons institutes. Also added was Oleg Romanenko, the Russian official put in charge of the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
  • Dmitry Medvedev has once again raised the prospect of nuclear war if Ukraine’s allies continued to supply it with arms.
