Plutonium is the pits

According to a judge’s ruling, activists will now be able to bring a lawsuit against the US Department of Energy’s plan to quadruple plutonium pit production for new nuclear weapons, to be manufactured in New Mexico and South Carolina. The suit was prompted by DOE’s failure to adhere to the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act. READ MORE
