Burghfield planning appeal for 32 homes goes to public inquiry

An appeal against West Berkshire Council’s rejection of 32 new homes in Burghfield will be decided by a public inquiry.

WBC refused planning permission on land behind the Hollies Nursing Home, in Reading Road, due to a lack of affordable housing and the site’s proximity to AWE Burghfield should a radiation incident occur.
