A message from Guido: See you at Lakenheath on 20 May!

CND’s national demonstration at Lakenheath airbase in Suffolk is just a week away. We’ll be joined by hundreds of our supporters and peace activists from across Europe, including Guido van Leemput from the Netherlands. Guido is a campaigner opposed to the stationing of US nuclear bombs at Volkel Air Base and will be speaking about their opposition to the siting of the new B61-12 bomb there. You can watch his message of support here. 

Other speakers include: German peace campaigner Reiner Braun; CND Chair Tom Unterrainer; Stop the War Coalition convenor Lindsey German; Liberation’s Roger Mackenzie; playwright Michael Mears; and Dr Peter Burt of Drone Wars UK. Hosted by CND General Secretary Kate Hudson.
