Pro-nukers find their Bacchus

The nuclear lobby is overjoyed to have Hollywood director, Oliver Stone, and his new film, Nuclear Now, on their team. But during an international junket for his film, some news outlets saw Stone’s fondness for Russian despot, Vladimir Putin, as the bigger story. Stone and the pro-nukers may be reveling in their propaganda tsunami now, but history will condemn them for sabotaging climate fixes. READ MORE

Mizue Kanno was forced to evacuate during the still on-going Fukushima nuclear disaster. Now she listens to the accounts of others who fled. And she argues that those trapped by the tsunami or earthquake who could not be rescued due to high radiation levels in those areas, should also be considered victims of the nuclear accident.
