Christopher Nolan’s film, Oppenheimer, is breaking box office records while Oliver Stone’s Nuclear Now is bombing. Meanwhile, the state of Connecticut is poised to classify new nuclear as “renewable” and pour money into nuclear expansion. Stanley Heller urges the governor to veto the bill.

Oliver Stone’s (pictured) flawed documentary is dying quietly in a corner, as it should. Ned must nix nuclear
Stanley Heller says Connecticut governor, Ned Lamont (pictured), should give the thumbs down to a bill that would promote new nuclear power in the state including small modular reactors and even fusion. Worse, it would classify nuclear power as “renewable”, allowing new nuclear owners to sell renewable energy credits. The lessons from Ukraine alone should warn us off further use of dangerous nuclear power. READ MORE
