Nuclear Gulf 

  • Reuters: Saudi Arabia says it plans tougher IAEA checks on its nuclear activities.
  • That’s as Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said in a US television interview that US-sponsored efforts to normalize Israeli relations with Gulf Arab states, including Saudi Arabia, “will see no success.”

Nuclear Korea

  • South Korea has held its first large-scale military parade in a decade to mark the country’s Armed Forces Day. In a speech to mark the event, President Yoon Suk Yeol warned North Korea against the use of nuclear weapons and pledged to ramp up support for the military and the defence industry.
  • North Korean regime will ‘end’ if it uses nuclear weapons, warns S.Korean president.
