Saudi Arabia is seeking US support for its nuclear energy program. Critics fear this would be used to develop nuclear weapons. Among those concerned are a group of US senators who are urging President Biden to “seriously consider” whether such a move is in the national interest as the administration brokers a deal to normalize relations between the kingdom and Israel.
