  • The Herald and Daily Mail cover the latest updates on Britain’s Dreadnought nuclear submarine programme, as a ‘mega-unit’ section of one of the subs is delivered to the BAE shipyard in Barrow.

China

  • The GuardianBBCTelegraph, and FT are among those reporting on a new US report on China’s nuclear arsenal. The Pentagon assessment claims Beijing is exceeding expectations in how quickly it is expanding its nuclear weapons systems. It added that China is “almost certainly” looking at Russia’s war in Ukraine to learn lessons for any conflict with Taiwan.
