China

• The Guardian, BBC, Telegraph, and FT are among those reporting on a new US report on China’s nuclear arsenal. The Pentagon assessment claims Beijing is exceeding expectations in how quickly it is expanding its nuclear weapons systems. It added that China is “almost certainly” looking at Russia’s war in Ukraine to learn lessons for any conflict with Taiwan.
