Abingdon Peace Group Newsletter November/December

Our newsletter for the next 2 months is below, I hope you find something useful in it!

What you won’t find is a description of what our next meeting is aiming at – I thought I had sent it to you in October but perhaps not.

 For our November meeting we are not inviting a speaker but invite all our members (that’s you!) to contribute your time and energy to researching one or two organisations which work “across the divide” with Israelis & Palestinians working together. We hope that some Salisbury CND friends and others will join us! So the title of the meeting should have been “Gaza/Israel – Working Across the Divide.” Apologies that that title got lost somewhere between mid-October and today!
Attached is a list garnered from various sources and no doubt incomplete. Far too many for us to cover all, but it would be good to know if you have knowledge of any particular ones? A few members shared theirs early enough to go in the newsletter, but there’s still time to bring one to the meeting!

Hope to see you then, and share some positivity among all the horror (which must have enveloped me when I was writing the newsletter!)

Do not give in to despair, and try not to take sides!
