A huge thank you to all who turned out for yesterday’s Palestine march.

The massive turnout on Saturday shows once again the level of support for the anti-war movement and the depth of opposition to the carnage in Gaza.

The march was the largest ever in the UK in support of the Palestinian cause. Stop the War groups up and down the country organised thousands of people onto coaches, so many that coach companies ran out of vehicles.

The government, and the Home Secretary in particular, did all they could to stop us from marching, but they failed. They failed because of the strength of our movement, because in our thousands we said we would not be silenced.

But we must not stop here. We need to keep building our movement. Let’s show them how many we are.

It is only by having a mass membership base that we gain that strength. This is why it is so important that you not only join us on the streets, but join us as a member.

Be part of the largest anti-war movement in history. The bigger we are, the stronger we become.
