After an 87-year trip aboard what Carl Sagan termed the “Pale Blue Dot,” longtime scientist and activist, Walt Patterson, observes that “the blue dot is now in serious trouble. Not the dot itself, but all of us creatures riding on it.” His journey also coincides with the existence of fission which, says Patterson, is a cover story for stockpiling terrifying quantities of nuclear explosives that would obliterate our blue dot and all of its riders.
