Saturday’s Global Day of Action is going to be huge. Millions of protestors around the world are expected to mobilise in support of a full ceasefire in Gaza.
Here, we must make London’s national march and rally one of the biggest ever. We know that coaches are being booked from across the country. Please do all that you can over the next three days to help build it even bigger, through your groups and in your communities.
Protests are planned in at least 36 countries across more than six continents and in more than 67 cities, as Israel faces the charge of genocide at the International Court of Justice as its continues its indiscriminate attacks on civilians and infrastructure.
Countries already confirmed include:
UK, US, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Australia, Brazil, Jordan, and Turkey.
The global action has been called by the UK organising coalition – the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Palestinian Forum in Britain, Stop the War Coalition, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Friends of Al Aqsa and the Muslim Association of Britain.
Hundreds of thousands are expected to join our National March for Palestine from Bank in the City of London to Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square. It will be the seventh national demonstration since October which, together with five Days of Action, constitutes one of the largest, sustained political campaigns in British history.
There’s still time to make it even bigger.
Forward this email to friends and family and share the word on your social media, with your work colleagues, at the school gates and in your community spaces.
And please join our leafleting sessions!
