Israel’s “unofficial” nukes

Israel is the only nuclear weapons state in the Middle East. Because it has never officially declared its nuclear status, the country comes under no international controls and inspections. Now, Israel is at war and other countries and factions in the region are responding. The hands of the Doomsday Clock did not change since last year - the closest they have come to midnight - but the risks certainly did.
