Lobby your MP for the ceasefire vote in Parliament next week

From the streets and into parliament, we’re taking our demand for a #ceasefireNOW directly to MPs next week ahead of a crucial vote. Now is the time to ramp up pressure on parliamentarians by joining our emergency lobby day.

Yes, I’ll lobby my MP

Next Wednesday, parliament will hold a crucial vote on whether or not to support a ceasefire in Gaza. With over 28,000 Palestinians already having been killed, and with many many thousands more injured and facing starvation, this couldn’t be more urgent. It is essential for people like you, Barbara, to put as much pressure on your MP as possible ahead of next week’s vote calling for a ceasefire.

This is why we’re organising a mass emergency lobby of parliament from 11.30am – 4pm on Wednesday 21st February. Anyone can participate. You don’t need to be an expert, and PSC will be there to guide you through the entire process of lobbying your MP. You’ll be joining hundreds of others in parliament to demand a ceasefire now.

We want to make this the biggest lobby of parliament in British history, and send a clear message to parliamentarians that the electorate will accept NO EXCUSES for not supporting an immediate ceasefire. Please join us if you can in person, but still email your MP if you can’t.

As well as asking you to lobby your MP during the day, there will also be a #CeasefireNOW demonstration starting outside parliament at 5pm in Old Palace Yard. This is shortly before the actual vote takes place on Wednesday, and where we want to see thousands of people protesting for Palestine.

Before then, I’d also like to remind you of the national demonstration in London this Saturday, which is assembling at 12 noon at Marble Arch. I hope to see you at both the national march and the lobby day!
