Two years of bitter fighting, half a million dead, entire cities destroyed and no end in sight – this is the current situation in Ukraine.

We were told there would be a swift victory, but the reality, as predicted by Stop the War, is a long drawn out war of attrition.

For the last two years Stop the War has called for peace negotiations and diplomacy to end this war. With your support we will continue this campaign.

As the Ukraine war enters its third year we are simultaneously witnessing genocide in Gaza, and the Middle East being set on fire. This is why it is so important to have a strong anti-war movement.

The war in Ukraine has resulted in a huge increase in military spending, at a time when our public services are on their knees. It has brought the world closer than ever to nuclear armageddon and has resulted in food and energy shortages across the globe. It is time this war came to an end.

One Ukrainian soldier told the Telegraph: ‘If we have another few years like this, it will be a disaster — we’ll either run out of people, or everyone will just leave the country.’

Please help us campaign to end this war and mobilise for peace.
