Dear Supporter
We hope you are able to enjoy some small freedoms being introduced during the Corona lockdown and also keeping safe.
Here is our latest annual report covering last year’s activities and accounts. We hope you like our new style!
We will also be launching a brand new website and searchable document library to coincide with our 20th Anniversary in August, thanks to everyone who generously donated to our spring appeal in March.
Lockdown has impacted some of our plans but we are still working from home along with our volunteers and board members and meeting regularly by video conference. We are continuing to send our report Trouble Ahead- Risks and Rising Costs in the UK Nuclear Weapons Programme to specific MPs and will be providing updates to this as well as continuing our research on warheads.
The Corona virus has held up the ruling on Information Tribunal challenge on DNSR safety reports but you’ll hear the result here first!
We are delighted to welcome Dr John Downer of Bristol University as a Patron offering his support and expertise along with our Patrons Sir Jonathan Porritt and Dr Nick Ritchie – you can read our Patrons profiles here
We always welcome your questions, comments and any new information at [email protected]
Best wishes from all of us at Nuclear Information Service
