We would like to thank everyone who took part in last Saturday’s national day of action against the return of US nuclear bombs to Britain.

A selection of photos from the various actions – which included a protest at RAF Lakenheath and a rally outside the US Embassy in London – is now available to view on our website here.

We are still collecting signatures for our planned letter hand-in to the Prime Minister later this year. You can use our online tool to add your name. Please sign if you haven’t already and share as widely as possible.

Campaigners will return to RAF Lakenheath this summer for an international peace camp, taking place from 13-25 July. The action will include a three day walk or cycle from Norwich to the base, where a continuous presence will be set up for the duration of the camp. We’re also expecting participation from international peace campaigners, including those opposed to other US bases across Europe. Contact Lakenheath Alliance for Peace by emailing [email protected], for more information or to express interest in participating.
