Cranes for Peace

Posted: 21st July 2020

The above image shows 75 origami peace cranes, which have been folded by one of the participants in our Cranes For Peace challenge.

That’s one for each year since the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

So far, we’ve had a fantastic response to the challenge, in which we’re asking supporters to get sponsored by family and friends to fold peace cranes, to raise money to help our campaign against nuclear weapons so the world never has to see another Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

There’s still time to sign up to the challenge, and help us continue to campaign for a nuclear-free world. So if you’d like to join in, then please sign up for our Cranes For Peace challenge today.

Alternatively, if you feel the challenge isn’t for you, you can still show your support for our campaign – and our amazing participants – by making a donation instead. All donations will be very gratefully received, and will help us work towards a safer, fairer, greener world, free from the threat of nuclear war.
