Friends of the Earth Palestine (PENGON) really, really need our solidarity right now. Their environmental work is becoming impossible as every day their communities face unimaginable horrors.
UK weapons and diplomatic support are complicit in these horrors – which could amount to genocide according to the International Court of Justice. With a new government and new ministers, now is a critical time to up the pressure on our leaders to act.
We know that David Lammy, our new foreign secretary, is considering limiting exports of UK arms to Israel. But there’s a risk he’ll backtrack or only restrict the sales of some weapons. We need him to hear loud and clear this must be a full arms embargo.

And demand all the UK’s diplomatic leverage is used to call for a full and permeant ceasefire. There can be no more delay when it comes to questions of genocide.
We know there can be no environmental justice where there’s oppression. We’ll keep standing for climate justice from the UK to Gaza and beyond.
