A few days prior to the US presidential election, we hosted the Typical American Extravagance online briefing with Senator Nina Turner, Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!and Mouin Rabanni, a Middle East specialist and co-editor of Jadaliyya.
If you missed it, you can watch the discussion online by clicking here.
You can also read this write up in The Morning Star, which featured some of the discussion from the briefing, as well as analysis of what the result could mean for the US and wider world.
In regard to the election result itself, we understand that this result is deeply concerning for many. The Peace & Justice Project is totally committed to building bridges and working across borders with any organisation building an alternative to the authoritarianism and division favoured by the likes of Donald Trump.
We hope that you will stand with us as we continue our work in building a future that works for the many, not just the few.
In solidarity,
