Stop the War coalition

The world is at war. The genocidal assault unleashed by Israel, supported by the US and Britain, has led to over 45,000 Palestinians murdered. The Labour Party has failed to avert the genocide in Gaza while the war in Ukraine intensifies and the crisis in the wider Middle East deepens.
Israel has launched hundreds of airstrikes across Syria alongside the US who are striking targets associated with Islamic State (IS) in central Syria, while Turkey attacks US-backed Kurdish forces.
It’s an extremely volatile and dangerous situation both in the Middle East and Ukraine but Keir Starmer’s government has no intention of ending these reckless and futile wars. Instead they are fuelling them by providing arms and political cover. The history of western interventions – not least by Britain – in the Middle East and Afghanistan throughout the ‘war on terror’ has been one of creating instability and terrorism, not ending it.
