Peace organizations and outreach materials from Norway

Posted: 12th December 2024

I was in touch recently with Einar Flydal from Norway who is quite well-known for his work on the EMF issue and satellites.

Below is a list of items he sent that may be useful to peace groups as well as to those interested in the satellite Tsunami.

1. PEACE GROUPS IN NORWAY

There are several Norwegian peace organizations working on various aspects of peacebuilding. Some of the most central ones include:

  1. Norges Fredsråd (Norwegian Peace Council): This is an umbrella organization uniting 18 different peace organizations in Norway. They focus on peace, disarmament, and conflict resolution without violence.
  2. Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue: Based at Nansenskolen, this center works on dialogue and peaceful conflict resolution. It has a long tradition and strong ties to peace efforts in Norway.
  3. International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) Norway: Part of the global ICAN movement, this organization advocates for a ban on nuclear weapons.
  4. Fredslaget (The Peace Alliance): An independent organization that has been engaged in peace and solidarity work in Norway since 1945. They aim to promote a culture of peace and non-violence.
  5. The Nordic Association for Peace: This organization focuses on peace efforts from a Nordic perspective, emphasizing cooperation among the Nordic countries.

These organizations represent a range of approaches to peacebuilding, from dialogue and education to political activism and campaigns.
