Dear Peace News subscriber, friend and supporter,

Season’s greetings!

You will probably have been wondering what is happening with Peace News since the departure of the staff. All is explained in the attached newsletter. We’re also sending two supporting documents: a statement from Peace News Trustees (PN’s parent company); and a discussion paper about PN’s role and its future.

Briefly, your subscription is on hold, and will be resumed at some point in 2025. Meanwhile, we are consulting on what PN should be, going forward. There is information on how to contribute to this in the letter.

There is also an invitation to ask for a free 2025 Housman’s Peace Diary, by way of compensation for the absence of PN itself for the time being.

We plan to send out regular newsletters. Where we have your email addresses, these will be sent by email (on grounds of ease, cost, and environmental impact). This first newsletter has been posted to everyone, because we can’t be sure emails aren’t getting lost in spam folders.
