The 60th silent vigil took place outside Salisbury Library on Saturday with around 50 people attending. These weekly vigils are an expression of hope for an end to the violence and a peaceful future in the Middle East.
On this occasion, we carried flowers and candles and displayed heartfelt messages, bringing together the thoughts of those who attended. The messages emphasised the need for the ceasefire to be permanent and for the much increased violence against the Palestinians in the West Bank to be halted.
