Drop the Charges! Defend Chris Nineham!
As part of our campaign to defend the right to protest, we will be standing in solidarity with our national Vice-Chair, Chris Nineham, who is appearing at Westminster Magistrates Court following his arrest at the last national demonstration.
Our position is clear, all charges against Chris and other peaceful protesters should be dropped and no trials should be taking place.
We are calling on everyone who values our democratic and collective rights to join us outside Westminster Magistrates Court, on Thursday 13 February from 12:30 pm.
We need to make our presence outside the court known! We ask that all trade unions and campaign groups attend with their banners. We need to show the British State that we will not tolerate these political trials against peaceful protesters.

Can you help push our campaign?
Trade unionists and political activists are vital to our campaigning efforts. We are trying to get as many organisations, trade unions and political parties as possible to support our campaign on defending the right to protest.
Can you submit our motion to your local trade union branch, constituency party or campaign group?
Please let us know which branch has passed our motion. This will help us direct our campaigning efforts.
Organising for the Workplace Day of Action!
Our next workplace day of action on 13 February 2025 has taken on a new urgency following the police attacks on the Palestine movement. The trade union movement must intensify its demands on the UK government to end its support for Israel and defend the rights to protest.
Send us an email to let us know what action is happening in your workplace. It’s not too late to start organising.
Please tag us in any social media posts, pics and videos on the day. The hashtag is #Workplaces4Palestine
In solidarity,
