The 2025 Nuclear-Free Future Award laureates will be celebrated at a ceremony on March 4 in New York City. S.P. Udayakumar took risks for nuclear resistance in India. Márcia Gomes de Oliveira and Norbert Suchanek educate international audiences with their Uranium Film Festival. Edwick Madzimure knows our nuclear challenges will not be solved without honoring the rights and voices of women. Media must unshackle itself

How often do we find the quotes of those of us in opposition at the very end of a newspaper article on nuclear power? That needs to change insists longtime campaigner Ralph Nader. Major media outlets must stop parroting the lines (and lies) of politicians and corporations and give voice to civil society and the “aroused resistance” if we are to see real change and hold onto democracy, he says. READ MORE
