[ICAN UK] Advocacy Letter - UK attendance at 3MSP

I am writing to share two versions of an advocacy letter that have been drafted, urging the UK Government to attend 3MSP next month, with reference to the recent comments made by Ian Murray, the absence of a clear stance from the Labour government on nuclear weapons and continued denial of effects of past nuclear testing in Kiribati.

 

We plan to send it next week to ensure we leave enough time for a response and for the letters to gain traction. Therefore, I would appreciate confirmation of signees by the end of Wednesday 19th February – please do so by return email to me, confirming your title job title for formatting in the letter. The text is almost certainly finalised, however please do be in touch if you have any small edits or suggestions that would form the difference between signing or not signing onto this letter.
