The situation in Palestine remains extremely urgent. Israel has reimposed a total blockade on all aid to the Gaza Strip, while refusing to implement the second phase of the ceasefire agreement. It is using the threat of starvation in an attempt to impose new terms – while escalating it’s attacks on Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Write to David Lammy today to demand the government pressures Israel to abide by the ceasefire agreement, calls for the complete lifting of the siege on Gaza, and stops arming Israel.
Write to David LammyIsrael’s total blockade on Gaza is an extension of the genocide that it has perpetrated since October 2023.
Almost all of Gaza’s residents are dependent on aid and experience shortages of food and essential medicines.
Alongside blocking aid, over recent days Israel has killed a number of Palestinians in Gaza through sniper fire and drone strikes – in violation of the ceasefire agreement. At least 116 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israel since the ceasefire came into effect.
Over the past weeks, Israel has intensified its military invasions in the illegally occupied West Bank, forcibly displacing the residents of 3 refugee camps while causing large-scale destruction of civilian infrastructure. Last month, Israel used armoured tanks in Jenin refugee camp for the first time in 20 years. In 2025 alone, Israel has killed over 70 Palestinians in the West Bank, including at least 17 children.
The British government must end its complicity in Israel’s attacks on Palestinians, including through the imposition of a comprehensive embargo on all arms trade with Israel.
Write to the Foreign Secretary today.
Write to David LammyAs Palestinians continue to face down Israel’s attacks – it’s more vital than ever that we take to the streets to demand justice.
The next national demonstration for Palestine will be on Saturday 15 March, in London. We must keep marching in our tens of thousands to demand an end to British complicity in Israeli apartheid. Please book your travel and make plans to join us on the day.
In solidarity,
Lewis
