Join the national demonstration for Palestine this Saturday, assembling 12noon at Piccadilly (Green Park)

For over a week, Israel has blocked the entry of ALL food, fuel, water and medical supplies to the Gaza Strip. Yesterday, it cut off electricity to Gaza’s only operating water desalination plant, the last facility still receiving power. We must take action.

The Palestine coalition has once again faced outrageous barriers to organising Saturday’s demonstration from the Metropolitan Police – including unacceptable delays in agreeing an assembly point and route. However, with just 5 days to go, we are now able to announce the route which the police have finally accepted.

Join us at 12noon this Saturday 15 March, assembling at Piccadilly (Green Park), marching to Whitehall.

The situation in Palestine remains urgent. Israel is continuing to impose a total blockade on the Gaza Strip, where it continues to kill Palestinians by drone strikes and sniper fire. Instead of abiding by the ceasefire agreement, Israel is using the threat of starvation and water shortages to try and impose new terms.

Across the West Bank, Israel continues its daily military invasions, with nearly 100 Palestinians killed this year alone. The Israeli military has displaced over 40,000 Palestinians from 3 refugee camps, causing large-scale destruction.

We must show the complicit British government: we will not stop campaigning until Israeli apartheid is fully dismantled and Palestinians obtain freedom.

Join the national demonstration on Saturday, assembling 12noon at Piccadilly (Green Park), and write to David Lammy to demand the government ends its complicity in Israel’s crimes.
