Jeremy Corbyn's position on nuclear weapons

As the Labour leadership election enters the final stage, CND Vice-Chair Jeremy Corbyn MP continues to be the front-runner. Jeremy is the only candidate in the contest who opposes Trident replacement and with less than 24 hours to go before voting eligibility closes, Labour CND has repeated its call for a strong anti-Trident voice to be heard in the vote.
Last Thursday Jeremy used his speech at the annual CND memorial event to mark the bombing of Hiroshima to set out his plans for transitioning jobs away from the nuclear weapons industry.
