Don’t Buy Apartheid.

Posted: 12th March 2025

Today, PSC has launched an important new campaign: Don’t Buy Apartheid.

We’re calling on all individuals, as well as shops, cafés, and restaurants to take two key boycott actions in solidarity with Palestinians.

First, boycott Israeli produce like avocados, peppers, herbs and dates. Second boycott Coca-Cola.

Both Israeli fresh produce and Coca-Cola help enable Israel’s oppression of Palestinians.

Israeli agricultural exporters, shipping fresh produce to supermarkets across the UK, operate farms and facilities on stolen Palestinian land using looted Palestinian resources. When shops sell this produce, they are supporting Israel’s land grabs and ethnic cleansing.

Coca-Cola’s franchisee in Israel operates facilities in an illegal settlement in occupied East Jerusalem. It is therefore helping Israel solidify its grip on stolen Palestinian land. Buy an apartheid-free alternative like Gaza Cola instead, available online.

On Saturday 5 April, we’re holding the first Don’t Buy Apartheid day of action. PSC branches are organising street stalls and protests at supermarkets the length and breadth of Britain, calling for Israeli produce and Coca-Cola to be removed from the shelves, and asking customers to join the boycott. Make sure to join your local action.

PSC branches are also reaching out to local shops, venues and cafes to ask that they join the boycott and display a campaign poster in their window.

As Palestinians continue to resist Israel’s military occupation and apartheid, it’s so important we take action against corporations that help enable the oppression that they face.

We need to show companies like Coca-Cola that complicity in Israeli apartheid has economic consequences. Hundreds of thousands across Britain will boycott your products and get them taken off the shelves.
