This week, the Israeli security cabinet approved a plan to occupy Gaza as thousands marched in Jerusalem calling for an end to Israel’s war. Not a single bottle of water or any other vital aid has entered Gaza for over seven weeks.
And today it was revealed that the UK has continued to send munitions to Israel that could be used in Gaza, despite Foreign Secretary David Lammy claiming that only defensive weapons are being supplied.
It’s time to end Britain’s complicity in Israeli war crimes.
On Saturday 17 May, we will once again be marching through London to demand our government stops supplying arms to Israel. This will be the first National Demonstration since March, when Israel broke the ceasefire agreement and comes just days after the 77th anniversary of Nakba Day – when Israel expelled hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their land in 1948.
Date; Saturday 17 May
Time: Assemble 12 noon
Location: Embankment Station, London, WC2N 6NS
It’s our task to ensure that the demo is as big as possible to show that the British people support the people of Palestine – and we will not go away.
Please share this demo on social media and use our WhatsApp tool to send the message below to encourage your friends, colleagues and neighbours to join the next demonstration.
Hey! I’m joining the next national demo for Palestine on Saturday 17 May. This will be a very important one and Israel has announced plans to ethnically cleanse and occupy the whole of Gaza. Will you join me? You can find details here https://palestinecampaign.org/events/national-demonstration-nakba-77/
