The UK has the sixth biggest defence budget in the world. The amount spent on the military was obscene before the crisis. Now, while children are expected to go hungry and the country faces a deepening economic crisis it is indefensible.

The anti-war movement must counter the narrative that military build up holds the answer to global economic woes or that the threat of war resolves global competition. But we now need your help.
