Chris Nineham and Ben Jamal’s trial has now been delayed due to what can only be described as an unreasonable and obstructive process by the police and courts.
This may be a setback for now but it only strengthens our resolve. The right to protest is a cornerstone of any democratic society — and we will continue to defend it, publicly and without apology.
Every member strengthens our collective voice and makes it harder for the state to silence us.
Only last week, the government decided to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation. These are not isolated events – they are part of a broader authoritarian drift that normalises repression of dissent and expands state power at the expense of basic democratic freedoms.
It is part of a wider pattern of repression, where legitimate protest is criminalised, where those who speak out for Palestine are silenced, and where the justice system is used to intimidate and exhaust activists.
But we will not be silenced and we are more determined than ever to fight back. Join us now and help turn solidarity into strength.
