At least 89 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, with Israel planning further escalations of its genocide in coming days. Palestinians cannot wait until the end of Parliament’s summer holiday for MPs to take action – we need sanctions now!

Please write to your MP to demand they insist the government recalls Parliament from its summer recess in order to impose immediate sanctions against Israel, including ending all arms trade and military cooperation.

Recall Parliament: Demand Sanctions

Well over 200 Palestinians, including 103 children, have now perished from hunger-related deaths caused by the famine deliberately inflicted by Israel. 31 of those killed in the last day were massacred while desperately trying to reach aid to feed their starving families.

In addition to those killed seeking aid, Israel has also ramped up its attacks on journalists – deliberately targeting and killing six on Sunday, including the prominent Al Jazeera correspondent Anas Al Sharif. This is a blatant attempt to silence those reporting on Israel’s heinous crimes against humanity.

We’ve called a Summer of Action for Gaza, which includes a Stop Arming Israel protest at RAF High Wycombe this Saturday, but urgently need to also pressure MPs to return to parliament to take meaningful action to end the government’s complicity in Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

Write to your MP

Peter, following sustained public outrage and campaigning from people like you, we are seeing cracks in the government’s position. Politicians are feeling the heat, but empty words of condemnation without action are woefully inadequate.

Please help keep the pressure up by taking 2 minutes to write to your MP today, and demand they take action to end the British government’s complicity in genocide by calling for immediate sanctions against Israel.

In solidarity
James,
PSC Campaigns Officer

PS: On 16th August, as part of our Summer of Action for Gaza, we will be protesting at RAF High Wycombe, drawing on the legacy of protest at air bases like Greenham Common, and showing the strength of the public demand for an arms embargo.

Join us as we take the fight for an arms embargo to the very highest levels of command, to the very offices from where the orders are sent for Britain’s shameful involvement in the ongoing genocide through its RAF flights.
