Sizewell, caravan pitches for construction workers

Plans have been lodged to create more than 300 caravan pitches at a

holiday park that is housing nuclear power plant construction workers. As
work continues to transform Pontins Pakefield Holiday Village near
Lowestoft and provide accommodation for about 500 workers who will be
constructing a nuclear power station nearby, new plans have been unveiled.
Since January, as part of a “legacy” impact for the area, Sizewell C have
been carrying out a significant refurbishment of the site as it provides
temporary worker accommodation over a 10-year period during the
construction period for the nuclear power plant.
