Annual Keep Space for Peace Week report

Space week actions were held this year during one of the most intense times in recent history as the US-UK-Germany-Israel (and many other nations) supported genocide was raging in Gaza and the West Bank of Palestine.

Many of the protests connected these two fundamental concerns by revealing how the US-NATO nations have been assisting Israel with weapons and space technology to identify and target Palestinian people.

On our blog we have created a large photo display of events around the world. These photos in this message are just a few featured in that blog post.

Thank you for supporting the Global Network in its work to stop the militarization of space that is now being used to dominate the Earth on behalf of corporate capitalism.

Free Palestine! Free the sky of space technology for war!

Protest at aerospace confab in New Zealand

Police and peace activists clashed outside Christchurch, New Zealand convention centre as protesters set up a blockade against an aerospace summit taking place in the city. About 120 activists from the group Peace Action Ōtautahi positioned themselves around the central city building early on October 8, some chained themselves to gates of the various entrances. More than 20 were arrested. Protesters stated that links exist between some parts of the aerospace industry, the US military, the Israeli Defence Force. A spokesperson said, “The industry is operating under the guise of aerospace when in reality [some] companies …are launching technology for the Israeli Defence Force, technology that they use to target and murder Palestinian civilians.”
