NOTTINGHAM Monday 7pm November 3rd at the Fellows Morton and Clayton pub, 54 Canal Street, Nottingham, NT1 7EH. Kate Hudson will be speaking along with someone from the local CND group.

 

MANCHESTER Thursday November 13th 6.30pm at Cross Street Chapel, Cross Street, Manchester M” 1NL. Titled ‘Why US Nukes on UK Soil are Bad for Britain’ with speakers Kate Hudson, Rae Street and Angie Zelter. A video of this April’s LAP peace camp will be shown, time permitting.

November 29th LAP VIGIL12 noon ‘WELFARE not WARFARE

This vigil on the last Saturday in November is themed around Welfare not Warfare. The government’s purchase of hideously expensive F35 A jets is taking much needed funds away from social care and the NHS. There will be speakers from trade unions and other organisations to highlight this gross spending on weapons not welfare. Please come along and bring others and make your voice heard. The Portraits of the Hibakusha: 80 Years Remembered Exhibition is now on until 30 Nov at the Norwegian Church Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay.

 

The Movement against War (MAW) is holding its Annual Remembrance Lecture on 9th Nov.

 
MAW is delighted to invite you to our 2025 Annual Remembrance Lecture on Sunday 9th November at 3pm when the subject will be “Ending Wars”.

The lecture will take place in Mander Hall, Hamilton House, London WC1H 9BD, the HQ of the National Education Union (NEU).
 
Yorkshire CND will be holding its Annual Peace and Craft Fair on 29th November in the iconic Victoria Hall in UNESCO-listed Saltaire
