Nuclear ban: take action!
On January 22nd, the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) will come into force.

The TPNW will outlaw nuclear weapons and is a historic move towards global abolition.

Shamefully, the UK government says it will never sign, and refused to participate in any of the talks that led to the treaty.

That’s where you come in.

In the week or so leading up to the TPNW coming into force, we need CND supporters to help put pressure on the government.

Here’s how you can take action:

Request a meeting with your MPGet in touch with your MP. You can request a virtual meeting with them to explain why the treaty is so important. You can also organise a banner drop in your local area on January 22nd. Use your own banners or make a new one, and choose a good spot to unfurl on the day.

Don’t forget to send us your pictures so we can post them on social media.
