Palestine Solidarity Campaign: Watch our 2025 wrap up video

Posted: 1st January 2026

2025 marked the second year of genocide in Gaza, a genocide built on the foundations of decades of colonisation, military occupation and apartheid. We’ve continued to build the mass movement required in this country to bring an end to all UK complicity in these crimes – complicity of government, public bodies, companies and corporations.

Despite the government and mainstream media pretending Trump’s ongoing occupation plan is a plan for peace, we know the truth.

We must commit to make our voices, our actions, and our campaigns even louder in 2026. This includes resisting all attempts by the state to intimidate us into silence.

Help us become even bolder in 2026 and grow our movement. Share with your family and friends the call to join you in the movement for a free Palestine.Watch our 2025 wrap up videoShare on WhatsAppNow, let’s look back at the powerful achievements of our movement in 2025.

BDS Campaigning

In a historic first, through dedicated actions from our members, the Co-Op supermarket chain confirmed that it will stop sourcing products and services from Israel. It acknowledged Israel’s human rights abuses and violations of international law.

Our Campaign to Boycott Barclays Bank has seen dozens of days of action with branches picketed and sit-ins organised by PSC activists across the country. Thousands have closed their accounts in response, and music festivals have dropped Barclays as a sponsor, after campaigning by partner groups like Bands Boycott Barclays.

Recently, we launched our boycott Coca-Cola campaign. We followed the infamous Christmas Coca-Cola van around showing that we can’t celebrate a brand that is canned on stolen land. So far nearly 5,000 have signed up to boycott Coca-Cola – will you join them?

Protecting the space

We’ve fought for our fundamental human and democratic rights to protest and free speech. Building one of the largest and most sustained protest movements in British political history. Since October 2023, there have been 33 massive national demonstrations for Palestine, despite attempts by the political establishment to curtail our right to protest.

We’ve worked with a large network of cultural figures and artists engaged with PSC and grown momentum in this space, with artists refusing to be silenced. PSC held panels at large music and arts festivals, as well as speaking at gigs such as the Together for Palestine Wembley show. Our branches organised support for the protection of the cultural space for the Palestine movement, including 112 screenings of the feature film From Ground Zero.

We’ve been working tirelessly against the ongoing threats and restrictions targeting the Palestine solidarity movement. We will not be silenced. We have been fighting and will continue to do so in the face of the government’s undemocratic restrictions on speaking out against genocide. You can find our most recent statement here.Putting pressure on the government

We defeated the government at the Labour Party conference, forcing the party to acknowledge Israel’s genocide in Gaza. With the support of our allied unions we also got 100% of Labour affiliated trade unions voting for the PSC motion.

We hosted a lobby day in November where hundreds of people like you showed up to talk directly with your MP. We demanded the UK government stop arming Israel and funding the continued genocide.

Building divestment campaigns

Throughout the year, we have worked with and pressured local councils to divest their pension funds from companies enabling Israel’s crimes against Palestinians. To date, we already have over 30 councils signed up in support. Also, a couple of weeks ago, we launched the new Councillor Pledge for Palestine – receiving over 700 pledges from councillors in one week! If you want to put pressure on your local councillors, make sure to take the action here!

Union work

We not only brought together 150 trade unions for our annual trade union conference and now we are mobilising union members to take action to end all complicity in their workplaces. If you want to find out how you can do this too, make sure to check out our new toolkit!
But despite our achievements and campaign victories, the genocide in Gaza has not been stopped. Occupation, apartheid and ethnic cleansing have not ended. So we cannot stop campaigning.

In 2026 we must keep fighting. We will keep fighting. We are the people. We won’t be silent.
