Dear Friends and Fellow Peacemakers,
I hope all is well with you and your family at this difficult time.
We are delighted to announce that Peace One Day, in association with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, is producing the Anti-Racism Live Global Digital Experience on 21 March 2021, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We are truly honoured to present this experience and preparations are well underway. We are also, of course, preparing for Peace Day 21 September 2021.
Over the coming months we will be developing our technology, website and social media and look forward to raising awareness of Anti-Racism Day and Peace Day on a global scale in 2021. There are tremendous creative opportunities to manifest awareness and action in the coming years, driven by powerful ideas such as peace, sustainability, equality, justice, diversity and inclusion, in which we can all play a pivotal role.
We are proud to be working again with our incredible sponsors Avon and Lipton, who are getting behind both experiences on 21 March and 21 September 2021. We’re so grateful for their support. We are also honoured to have the support of our partners – OHCHR; The Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies; SDG Global Action Campaign; Peace Innovation Lab at Stanford University and the city of The Hague.
Please follow our social media and register at peaceoneday.org to be a part of the community and stay updated on these exciting experiences!
