This is so good:

A complete breakdown of how people’s everyday activities can be logged and then matched through commercially-based ‘data fusion’. If people have seen my presentation on data fusion, this is the technology that was created by US/UK intelligence during the ‘War on Terror’, and is now marketed by a variety of companies to governments.
This video is about how ICE assigns ‘target scores’ to decide who to detain. This is exactly the same infrastructure/process that any state could use to track and if necessary ‘disrupt’ the activities of its most “problematic citizens”.
If you’ve had a bank audit to check you’re not ‘money laundering’, or if your credit score suddenly goes haywire, it’s increasingly this same kind of highly error-/false positive-prone data fusion activity which causes this.
People still ask me why I refuse to have a mobile/smart phone. This is why. And privacy campaigners were talking about this being a ‘feature, not a bug’ with mobile technology since the early 2000s.
