Medact's Statement on US and Israel attacks on Iran

It is clear that this is an imperialist war of aggression, there the grave risks of further escalation, including nuclear weapons proliferation.
We are sharing with you Medact’s statement following the US decision on Saturday 28th February to abandon diplomatic negotiations with Iran and launch a military assault that has caused devastating loss of life.
It is clear that this is an imperialist war of aggression, there the grave risks of further escalation, including nuclear weapons proliferation. We stand in solidarity with people in Iran, Lebanon and across the region who are bearing the cost of this violence.
We are calling on you, the health community, to speak out, to oppose UK involvement, and to demand de-escalation, diplomatic negotiation, and a pathway to peace. If you’re able to, join the national demonstration in central London this Saturday 7th March called by CND and Stop the War.
