Catch up: Stop bombing Iran

Almost 1,000 people attended last night’s online meeting on the war on Iran. The meeting provided an informed overview of recent events with important contributions from speakers including Trita Parsi and Tariq Ali. The urgency of the crisis is clear. The war on Iran is escalating at pace and Trump’s ganster imperialism is setting the entire region alight. Starmer has now permitted the use of British bases by the US, as ever supporting the US government in their crimes.

We must do all we can to show our opposition to this illegal war and prevent Britain from getting further involved in the catastrophe that is unfolding.

We have also launched an online petition demanding the government condemns the illegal war on Iran and calls for an immediate de-escalation of hostilities. We demand that no UK military bases, resources, territory nor airspace will be used by the US, nor any other military force, in this war and for the UK to immediately suspend all arms sales and military support to Israel.
