Currently recruiting Human Rights Monitors (known as Ecumenical Accompaniers) to serve in the West Bank in 2027

Posted: 11th March 2026

Our partners at Quakers in Britain are currently recruiting Human Rights Monitors (known as Ecumenical Accompaniers) to serve in the West Bank in 2027 through the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI).

With the situation in Palestine as urgent as ever, programmes like this play a vital role in ensuring that the experiences of communities living under occupation are witnessed, documented and shared with the wider world.

Ecumenical Accompaniers spend three months accompanying Palestinian communities, monitoring and reporting on human rights violations and standing in solidarity with local peace activists. When they return home, they help raise awareness by speaking in their communities and advocating for a just and lasting peace.

No previous monitoring experience is required. The programme provides in-depth training, covers expenses and provides a living allowance.

EAPPI welcomes applications from people of all faiths and none, and is particularly encouraging applications from those under-represented in previous cohorts, including people from Black communities, People of Colour and those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

If you are flexible, resilient and committed to human rights, this could be a meaningful opportunity to accompany communities seeking justice.

Application deadline: 9am, Monday 16 March
