Thousands marched yesterday in opposition to the escalating war in the Middle East. There were protests up and down the country from Manchester to Penzance, Cardiff to London. This illegal war is bringing death and destruction across the Middle East and causing economic shocks across the world. Fears of fertiliser shortages and soaring energy prices will impact us all. 

We must stay mobilised. But organising protests and mass demonstrations is expensive: the staging and sound system for the London protest cost thousands, while leaflet and placard printing costs mount.
