Nuclear Weapons and Iran war

“Nuclear deterrence” ideology is so frequently promoted in mainstream
discourse that the idea of nuclear weapons being an invisible magic shield
for nations that possess them has somehow become naturalised. A closer look
at some of the dynamics motivating the US-Israeli war on Iran raises doubts
about whether nuclear weapons could reliably prevent attack by a
belligerent adversary.
