Lakenheath this weekend

Dear Peace Group member,

This is just to say that you were represented at USAF Lakenheath in Suffolk on Saturday, where the main gate was blockaded for 3 hours by people calling for peace, as the fighter jets took off for Iran over our heads, and the fighter pilot from Lakenheath who was shot down over Iran was still unaccounted for. Iran has announced that Lakenheath is now a legitimate target, and one wonders what the locals make of that.

There is a demonstration outside USAF Fairford (21 miles away) next Saturday 11th April at 1pm: Do get in touch if you can go, especially if you can offer a lift there. It’s important to show up to tell the world that we do not consent to our countryside being used for illegal wars.
