Donald Trump has given Iran until 1am (UK time) to make a deal or be “taken out”, promising that “a whole civilisation” will die. Horrifically, the UK is refusing to rule out allowing British airbases to be used for such an intensified assault.

Meanwhile US forces have been striking military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island and its warplanes have continued to operate from our bases, including RAF Lakenheath where peace protestors shut down the main gates for six hours this morning. This is why it is so important to join Stop the War and help us build the pressure needed to stop Britain being dragged deeper into this catastrophic war.

The consequences of this catastrophic war are already being felt globally. The war has claimed thousands of lives in Iran, Lebanon and the wider Middle East and triggered a major energy crisis, with the prospect of a worldwide economic crisis snowballing.
